The Associated Press is reporting in an unsigned story that the Democratic National Congress is suing the Justice Department...
demanding it turn over any e-mail traffic with the Republican Party on the U.S. attorneys controversy and criminal investigations.

Okay, I can't find it anywhere but here.
Has John Solomon finally gone off his nut? Does someone at the International Herald Tribune just have a really weird sense of humor?
Or is it possible that someone the DNC would presume to have standing to bring such a suit at this stage in the process?
It makes no sense to me.
UPDATE: Now it makes sense. As jj32 points out in the comments, the suit is a follow-up to last month's FOIA request, which (of course) gives the DNC standing to sue. Funny how the AP story leaves out that little detail.
