This is probably a dailykos first, in which, anyone has posted his or her personnel resume onto this political blogging community. I have been a member of this community since last year when Ned Lamont announced that he would challenege Joe Lieberman in the Connecticut democratic primary.
At this moment, I am interviewing for various financial and management positions in the New England area, but I have a greater passion for campaign politics.
Since I graduated from the University of Connecticut last spring I have taken some time off in-between for personal reasons before I would enter into the job-force at full speed.
Additionally, I was involved with both the Joe Courtney and Ned Lamont campaigns over the last year.
Also, I was in contact with a senior advisor for the John Edwards campaign along with other members in the campaign regarding possible employment.
However, I was unsuccessful in my pursuit probably due to my lack of experience compared to the highly seasoned professionals working for the Edwards campaign.
In any case, I am a very highly motivated and enthusiastic college graduate who wants to get his foot in the door (preferably research, finance, communications, and scheduling departments) with a presidential campaign so I can gain the experience necessary to get into the political consulting industry or run for office myself in the intermediate future.
