I have not seen this diaried, so I'll assume this occurred locally. Last Thursday, here in the DC, the local Faux affiliate reported that the National Park Service detected low levels of tularemia during the anti-war demonstration

09.30.05-AP --
Officials are revealing that air sensors on the National Mall detected a possible disease agent last weekend during the Iraq war demonstrations. Health officials say the sensors showed signs of a low level presence of Tularemia bacterium. Tularemia can be treated with antibiotics and is not contagious. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has alerted state health officials in D-C, Maryland and Virginia. But officials say no one has reported symptoms of the disease, and subsequent air tests have come back negative.
Now is it me or is this the nefarious machinations of an administration so committed to suppressing protest? Some here had speculated that Bush's trip to NORAD was not to monitor Rita but to monitor some staged simulation of a terrorist attack.
