It would seem so. The Attorney General at this morning's session of the currently recessed House Judiciary Committee hearing said the President was looped into a discussion of three US Attorneys who weren't doing the work on voter fraud that Karl Rove wanted.
"I've now been made aware of the fact that there was a conversation with the President that basically mentioned the same thing in October of 2006," Alberto Gonzales told Rep. Bobby Scott.
Oops. That wasn't on the White House's script a month ago.
For instance, Dana Perino on March 27:
"I have said on the record for several weeks now that there is no indication that the President knew about any of the ongoing discussions over the two years, nor did he see a list or a plan before it was carried out."
