A poll released by the Boston Globe shows the Democratic Senator trailing rival, ahem, Howard Dean 27-24, with the rest undecided or going to lesser candidates.
That poll was released in November, 2003, roughly two months before the Iowa Caucuses. Just like now, we're roughly two months ahead of the general election. Nothing that's been released so far could be nearly as dire as Kerry losing in his home state, and we all know how that one turned out. So, buck up, have hope, and stay on-track. Just wait for "Comeback Kerry" to get out in the media (Komeback Kerry?), keep registering voters, keep getting the word out, and keep fighting.
Polls are just polls, there's millions of them this year and they all contradict each other. The truth is, this thing is damn close. Let's take it home.
