Noticed this from a conservative blogger on another site:
The (D) desire to win this time is so strong that I barely recognize the party. "We love war heros, we hate deficits" LOL
Translated to the general electorate: "Don't believe a word of what the Democrats are saying. They will say anything to get elected."
IMO, Democrats could win on the issues, but not when thay try to have every side of every issue like John Kerry does, from the War to NCLB to taxes.
Neat meme, this. It'll put Democrats on the defensive before the issues even come up.

You should really pay better attention. John Kerry actually served, unlike your "War President".
Bill Clinton knew how to balance a budget. What's W's problem? For Reagan's and Bush I's deficits, you blamed the Democratic Congress. What's your excuse these days?
The point is, it doesn't matter how bad GWB is unless the Democratic Party is seen to be sincere. I don't think it's looking too sincere these days.
