I haven't seen this mentioned in the last few days, so I thought I'd break the exciting news to everyone. Apologies if it's been diaried...I couldn't help myself. I just love disecting polling trends too much!
As many of you know, Rasmussen has been doing a weekly poll on both the Dem and Repub nomination races. It was skewing a bit pro-Obama for a while, but seems to have settled down to more like the national numbers we see elsewhere. And the best part...I can wake up early every Monday morning to see the lastest numbers (no, really!). Fun stuff.
This week, there wasn't a poll...because of the Fourth of July holiday. Rasmussen mentioned this in an editor's note this week...they'll have a poll out tomorrow instead. But check the note closely:
Rasmussen Reports did not poll on the race for the Democratic Presidential nomination during the week of July 4th. As a result, no polling update was released on Monday, July 9th. Polling resumed this past Monday night and our next update will be posted this FRIDAY, July 13th. Next Monday, July 16th, daily tracking of Election 2008 will begin.
Holy crap! A DAILY UPDATED TRACKING POLL! You mean we can all argue over the slightest poll blip EVERY DAY? Oh man. Poll Junkies...time to break out the champagne. Game on!
