George Bush?
These are all traits of a psychopath, and someone who has no "conscience". Theirs is a world devoid of emotion, with no emotional connection to others, a life force driven by a completely self serving agenda, they are utterly remorseless with no restraint in their efforts for gratification. A theme that always runs true for psychopaths is a complete lack of the ability to care about the pain and suffering they cause, the complete inability to put themselves in the shoes of others, or empathize, they just don't care. They also have a poor ability to learn from experience and an inability to project into the future to avoid problems, does this remind you of anyone?
Radio Talk Show Hosts?
Their style is one of secret aggression as they systematically go about sabotaging the ideas of others to get their ideas in place. They are usually effective at getting their way, and are especially vindictive if resisted or threatened. They don't follow the social norm of reciprocity like others do.
Must be Republicans?
Psychopaths are drawn to power and money as a replacement for the usual emotional rewards humans have developed for millennia. They don't feel bad when telling a lie, nor do they feel good when telling the truth, they see how we react and use this as a tool to control us with. As individuals we maybe talking about 4% of the general population with a full blown set of syndromes, that's one in twenty-five Americans who have a "different set of rules", they're truly aliens among us.
The real enemy is a psychopath at the reigns of power, or psychopathy casting it's spell on an organization or corporation or country. Statistically just over 60% of the population will obey authority more or less without question, leaving a little over 30% who do not automatically defer to it. How many people show some or many of these syndromes, but are not full blown psychopaths is not known.
What is so dangerous about the psychopathy syndrome is the ability to not only deceive others but to deceive themselves, their internal check and balance is easily overcome, they can convince themselves of anything. Don't make the mistake of thinking someone like this will change their ways if only presented with the truth of what they've done, or that they will come to reason by us showing our outrage, that's how "we" would react, they don't work that way. If in goverment they will never ever stop their egocentric, manipulative, destructive "politics", not for anyone or any nation.
