I am wondering to myself today: who are we all talking to? There has been a lot of ranting and raving about this candidate and that, some of it enlightening, some...not so much.
So, I have to ask: who here hasn't already decided who they are supporting in the primaries?
Full disclosure, I'm new here, and the dialog is frequently interesting and sometimes stirring. And first impressions: you all seem like pretty intelligent folks, defined (at minimum) by the fact that you bother to be here regularly and work hard to make your opinions cogent and interesting.
But what I can't figure out, as I've read a bunch of the anti-this-guy, pro-that-gal, stuff over the last week or so: Who around here hasn't already picked their horse?
Whether you love Barack, Hillary, Dennis, or John, there are solid reasons for each and clear lines of distinction. I have read ALOT of the diaries, covering each of the candidates, and they all make their cases very well.
What is missing for me is the voice of the undecided. I am looking hard to try and find someone, anyone, who is saying: I can't pick.
Are you out there?
And if you haven't decided, what is holding you back? What is missing? What are you waiting to see or hear? What don't you already know about Hillary or Barack or John or Dennis?
How are you planning to make your choice?
All of this is by way of hoping some of you comment. I think those of us who support a candidate would LOVE to know how best to communicate our messages. There is a strong reason we believe in the folks we support, and we are more than happy to engage in a discussion of their merits. Hopefully avoiding attacks on each other!
So, what concerns you? Hillary's baggage or negatives? Barack's youth and experience? John's penchant for expensive haircuts? Dennis' height?
Please share with all of us so that we can discuss things that are important to you, because if you are truly undecided, or even waffling, you are the single most important people on this site.
Thanks for listening!
