I check CNN.com several times a day at work. It's a habit. Generally I find no major problems with their stories. Their choice of stories on the other hand can be quite troubling.
Take for example one of two featured headlines in their political section right now:
That's right. 'Hollywood Madam' 'big fan' of Sen. Clinton
Convicted felons can support whomever they want. And I'm sure that a number of them support Republican candidates.
Why don't we hear about them? And why is this so noteworthy as to give it prominence on their website?"
Because it involves sex. And women. And a Clinton.
It's tabloid worthy journalistic crap couched in political language. How many other possible headlines of more worth could have been featured instead of this smear revelation?
Sure they could have written about Sen. Leahy's press conference and the White House's refusal to comply with a supoena. Or how about Bill Sali "apologizing" for claiming that Muslims were not fit for public office.
Neither of these stories are on CNN.com.
Instead we have a story right out of Sean Hannity's wet dreams. Heidi Fleiss and Jenna Jameson are Clinton supporters? Imagine the circle jerk going on over at Fox News right now.
