Bush in Colombia to focus on drug war
SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) -- U.S. President George W. Bush aims to highlight the benefits of American drug-fighting aid in Colombia and boost a conservative Latin American leader with a brief, security-laden stop in the Andean nation.
It is ironic don't you think?
What this map does not show is the direct line from Colombia to the DKE house at Yale.
U.S.-assisted efforts to kill coca plants in a massive fumigation project also has led to what U.S. officials claim was a 20 percent drop in cocoa leaf production. Colombia is the world's top producer of cocaine, much of it sold on American streets.
To which Bush said, "Bummer".
George W. Bush stopped in Colombia today to pledge his assistance in the war on drugs. Colombia is the the world's largest supplier of cocaine. Mr. Bush already was aware of this because while at Yale, he was more on the Drugs side in that particular war. Once again he took preemptive action...you see here, W liked the booger sugar. He had no problemas hitting the slopes with the boys from Skull and Bones, comprende mi amigo?
So today was like getting back to one's roots so to say. President Bush never once mentioned his fondness for Colombia's number one export. Or how he liked to give himself a lipper after blowing a few rails. Or about that one time when he had some strippers over and they....oh nevermind.
He only spoke about what a great guy Uribe was and how he was "optimistic" that they would be successful in the war on "Terra", whoever that coke slut is. She must be a big dealer or something. And that they were closer to meeting their goals now than they were before Uribe came into office.
