I hate writing this diary, but I feel the need to. I see this too often here and I have to ask the community this question. Are we so intent on change that we feel the need to manufacture issues?
Aren't there enough genuine reasons to denigrate this administration? Do we really to create unfair and untruthful reasons?
And for those who call out these types of behaviors, do they deserve to be called "Purity Trolls"?
I'll keep this diary short and sweet, because the question is simple.
Should the members of this community feel free to call out diaries, or comments, that are blatantly untrue, or even not blatantly untrue, without being attacked, or called a purity troll? Even though they may appear to advance the cause for which this site was founded?
Is it in our own best interest to filter out these types of diaries or comments? Or should we look the other way?
I really want to know what everyone thinks.
I originally posted this diary earlier, but it was hijacked and I deleted it. I repost it here because I think it is an important issue. I don't include the link to single out anyone in particular, but to illustrate my point, just as others today have done in their diaries.
