You know, this got to be my 4th entry concerning the absoulete boobery of Bill O'Reilly. I feel that I'm wasting valuable space and time in regards to the falafel man. In fact, whenever I write about this piece of crap, I could hear the keys to my Laptop cry in horror. "Please make it stop!" But, I just couldn't resist.
Before the Andrea Mackris sexual harrassment allegations, Bill O'Reilly, was nothing more than just a Right-Wing pinhead. Although, there were instances that cemented his reputation as a Right-Wing apologist. But since, those Sexual Allegations came out, he's increasingly gotten worse.
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, O'Reilly called poor New Orleans residents, drug-addicted thugs. He then declared a fatwa against those who he perceived as pushing a secularist agenda in the U.S. Then there was the whole "War on Christmas," fiasco that could be considered one of the biggest jokes ever. Then last week, O'Reilly put a petition on his website, calling for MSNBC to fire Arch-nemesis Keith Olbermann and hire Phil Donahue in his place.
The desperation on his part, wasn't surprising. Since the Mackris scandal, O'Reilly's ratings have started to tumble and Olbermann's have skyrocketed. The public isn't buying the ramblings of hypocrite who talks about the evils of secularism, but then is found out to be sexually harrassing a woman.
But, a couple of days ago, O'Reilly put another notch in his belt.
A caller to his radio program for reasons that are his, mentioned the name "Keith Olbermann," and of course, O'Reilly blew a hissy-fit. O'Reilly hung up on the caller and threatened the gentleman by saying that Fox has got his phone number and that security would be calling him.
Okay, help me out, Billy, please, cause I'm confused.
Since when did Keith Olbermann's name become a threatening gesture.
Oh, wait, now I'm starting to get it.
Keith Olbermann's name became a threat, because slowly but surely, Keith Olbermann is starting to sneak up on you in the ratings. He's also been calling out on the most ridiculous things you've said the past year. Like wanting to let Al-Qaeda attack San Francisco to prove a point.
Bill O'Reilly is a thin-Skinned individual who apparently can't fathom the fact that someone with sheer journalistic integrity is starting to creep up and steal some of his thunder.
Resorting to threats and intimidation isn't going to win back some of the ratings that he's lost in one year. O'Reilly's reputation is ruined. First with his "War on Christmas," fiasco now with threatening a caller to his show who simply said the name "Keith Olbermann." And, if its true that Fox security did call this man, then Fox News and O'Reilly are guilty of abusing their power.
I think an investigation should be made into this matter and if the facts fall into place, then Bill O'Reilly should resign from both his radio and television shows. And, it'll add to growing reputation that Fox News is nothing more than a schill for an ideology that uses fear-mongering and hate speech to reach the pinnacles of power.
No doubt about it, O'Reilly has issued his own personal fatwa to stomp out his enemies and those who he perceives that are trying to destroy the majority of this country. The problem is, that O'Reilly is destroying himself. He is his own worst enemy.
Look, I don't care for Bill O'Reilly, and to me he's a waste of human life. But, a man supposedly with a high intelligence, who attended Harvard University, should exude a little more class and dignity.
That is where it ends. Because class and dignity are two words that O'Reilly don't know the meaning of.
