It was refreshing to see the AFL-CIO debate live up to the promise of delving deeply into the issues that really affect working Americans on a day to day basis.
It's also good to see that there is the ability for one candidate to frame the debate, whether it's on lobbyist money or announcing a new American trade policy and thereby making the other candidates answer up to their history on NAFTA, CAFTA and the WTO.
Now onto the next question of will unions endorse? Jonathan Tasini has more.
Keith Olberman says "it's time for another William Jennings Bryan." That's the populist spirit that swept America in 2006 and will drive the electorate's energy again in 2008.
