I may not be college-educated, but I find it hard to believe the feminist Greenstone Media for women died so quickly. Heck, by the time I heard about it on Steven Colbert, I was already googling but only finding a cursory website about it. Today, It is gone. No Greenstone. No Jack Shit.
Kind of like a lot of television shows. Remember the F/X show Over There? Anyone? Call me a T.V. Geek. I do not care. I do not watch a lot of t.v. Maybe a little at night. You cannot help but watch or at least hear t.v. at most businesses and medical care facilities. Ya' know?
So, when a decent primetime entertainment show airs for one season and disappears without a word, I notice.

Maybe this will scroll down the diary list. I do not know. What I do know is good television. We all need to unwind sometimes and forget about our problems. Even if it is only for one hour for a favorite show.
I have never watched American Idol. I have, however, heard about it from my friends, neighbors and our beloved Keith Olbermann. (His producers force him to do it!)
Sometimes, I have watched shows so I can talk to different family members with vast political differences, different geographical locations and/or generational differences.
And, Damnit, sometimes I just need to vegetate in front of the t.v. Usually, my programs are taped. Sometimes they are not. But television is here and sometimes you cannot avoid it even if you want or try to.
