Leave it to the another Rethug to whine about the fact he cannot live on his $168,000 salary. Boo-freakin'-hoo
I'll leave this short because it's really just an FYI and speaks for itself:
Michael P. Jackson, the second-in-command at the Department of Homeland Security resigned today, citing personal financial reasons.
In an e-mail to staff Jackson said,
"The simple truth, however, is that after over five years of serving with the president's team, I am compelled to depart for financial reasons that I can no longer ignore."
Jackson makes $168,000 a year. His resignation is effective Oct. 26.
Now, if so many of them are having financial troubles that they need to 1) quit or 2) deal in corruption (yes, you, Sen. Ted Stevens and Randall Cunningham) how can they -- with a straight face -- object to living wages for the poor and for union members?
Hypocracy exhibit 4,332,998 and counting.
