I find things very hilarious today. Well, yesterday, Labor day. The day when we are supposed to celebrate Labor. The whole day passed me by. I believe traditionaly, our president gave us a speech regarding labor and it's contribution. It was somehow absent this time. Was it because our president was in a country without any labor unions? I've heard about Iraq's politcal parties. Any labor unions? Does KBR have a union of labor that Bush spoke too?
Ive been thinking about putting this to text for a while. Not, just the president forgetting labor on Labor Day but, how come I know so little about Iraq's economic and labor policies. Go ahead and look it up. You cannot find the economic policies of a single Iraqi political party in power. Sure you can find the communists and whatever, those policies were invented during the enlightment. Obviously, these economic policy parties have no chance in Iraq. SO the question is, How come we dont know about the economic policies of any Iraqi politcal party?
Isn't this what the Oil law is about right? If these Islamic parties were capitalists, they would approve it right away. If they were Socialists, theres no chance the US will get it passed. But, all I hear about is Sunni and Shia crap.
Ummmmm, this is about money. This is about economic theory. The former country known as Iraq is a proving grounds on both sides. For most Iraqies, its about respect and life, which includes religion, honor, family, respect. For the Neocons? It's really about economic theory. How freedom, though they dont explain they want economic freedom, but confuse it with political freedom, is really what Iraqies want.
I want to explain freedom, because freedom isnt all in the same. Freedom is defined on how you use it. For instance, political freedom and economic freedom is far from the same thing. Political freedom is the freedom to vote, freedom of the press etc. Economic freedom is the freedom to privitize. Bush tries to confuse these things extremly well.
Iraq, has always been a prize, from every empire whose conquered it, from the Assyrians to the modern day empires of Europe, this has always been about money. Cyrus the great to Saladin. MONEY. The Orient Express to the Dreadnaught. Money. OIL, gold, culture, yea ummm, money.
Sigh's, I wish I was more elegant but, I cant think of elegant things to say. Well no, Im too lazy to figure out links and reference everything. Hence da rant.
I find it more than ironic that our president, on Labor Day, is in a country with absolutley no Labor rights whats so ever. Like, the war on terror is more important than the entire worlds workforce.
Whatever, It's business as usual.
