Thank you for the recommends but I'd appreciate it if you removed them. I like the recommended list to have positive diaries. I'm ranting here. I don't want my diary up on the list, just like I don't want these stupid attacks up on the list. Thank you again, but realize that when any of these diaries get up top, it takes the spot of a more deserving in depth topic.
Why is that the supporters of a change agent run the type of dirty politics that their beloved candidate is trying to stop?
Why is it that these same type of tactics they railed kos against just weeks ago these same supporters are now using?
Hillary Clinton has nothing but the greatest amount of respect for MLK Jr. Hillary marched with him in Selma when she was younger. Bill Clinton was called the 'first black president' by the NAACP, in recognition of his work for the country. This is not enough though for some of you. Instead, you want to spread any vile lie you can.
So Clinton didn't give a perfect line. This happens a lot in politics. And when you all spend your time looking for trash, you'll find it. Really, you only have to look at yourselves though.
Barack Obama has really had a positive campaign. I really respect him for this. Infact he has told his campaign to not spread any attacks that are personal against his main candidates, and for the most part, he has succeeded. Now it looks like this will pay off, and he will win the Democratic nomination.
Still, even though you love this of your candidate, you continue to spread personal attacks on someone who has worked tirelessly for woman rights and civil rights throughout her career. It’s sickening. It’s just as sickening as the 'cocaine' issue brought up by the HRC campaign, and each and every one of you who recommend that crap should be ashamed.
If you want to get past the politics of sound bites and personal destruction, why not start by stopping the personal practice you do every day on this site. Why not recognize that Hillary was saying ultimately a president had to sign civil rights into law. Even today, the civil rights act is considered controversial, and credit should be given to LBJ for having the courage to sign it. Credit should be given to MLK Jr and all his supporters, and all those who fought so hard for this. So Hillary didn't include it in that line, she messed up. This doesn't make her a bad person, as many of you suggested, it makes her human.
Go ahead though. Ignore everything she’s said in the past. Spread your lies. Show how shallow you really are. Then vote for the candidate who is supposed to change all that but is counting on you. Only, I think you’re missing what type of support he needs.
Barack Obama just doesn't need your votes, he needs you to fight to change the political system and the shark frenzy attack system that is in place to stop it from changing. At some point, you'll learn, you’re as much a part of the problem as any politician who slanders a candidate.
For the sake of our country, I hope you learn soon.
