Chris Matthews has just given a rather long and in depth apology of sorts for his comments about Hillary Clinton. There's no doubt that msnbc has heard us, and I guess the heat was so high that Matthews had to do something. He seemed sincere, but I don't think he really does "get" what the big deal was. He seemed to believe that it was only his statement that Hillary only got elected because her hubby disgraced her, when anyone who's been paying any attention to this knows that that comment was pretty much just the icing on the cake. He's been making more and more outrageous statements- that one just topped them all!
Anyway, I don't know if he is sincere, but I'm glad that our voice has been heard- and publicly acknowledged. It gives me back some faith in MSNBC.
So thank you MSNBC- and Mr. Matthews, try to keep your objectivity.
