Better people than Barack voted for that war resolution namely Senator Edward's and he has now left the election, leaving Hillary to bear the brunt of peoples frustration with the war and not George Bush. Voters are now punishing her for this vote and doing all they can to elect Barack......what's wrong with this picture.
Being the Jr Senator from NY, the state that 9/11 occurred in and not voting to allow George Bush to use force in Iraq "if" necessary sounds like political suicide. It doesn't take a political genius to see she is vulnerable to the accusation of not voting to "protect America". Remember Democrats were being herded like cows and all of america was falling under the spell of a psychopath. America was clamoring for "revenge" and our drinking pal "Boy George" was going to give it to us.
So here we go again, people voting for someone they like, it comes down to emotions for a lot of voters these days. Doing a little homework I find that Sen. Obama gave a war resistance speech in 2002 as a Illinois state senator having not been elected a US Senator until 2004, this officially gave him an anti-war stance and bestowed his official crown of good judgement.
Taking this good judgement to the US Senate in 2004 he proceeded to vote against time-lines and withdrawals and to time after time vote for funding the war, again and again......what! Obama the Johnny-come-lately anti-war presidential candidate never faced the "Bush War Resolution Authorization" in the senate or the influence of cherry picked intelligence because he was not in the US senate at the time, and has stated "he is not sure how he would have voted had he faced the same vote" that Hillary faced.............WHAT!
This means that his state senate speech he gave in 2002 opposing the war is now what makes him a viable candidate for the President of the United States by virtue of his "good" judgement? This only means two things to me, "opportunism" and someone who "tells" you what you should be thinking. Sounds like Mr Obama has learned his lessons well, lessons George Bush has taught us for seven years, opportunism, redefining reality, drawing peoples conclusions for them and telling them what to think. In six years of watching George Bush's 9/11 self serving opportunism, and fooling as many as he can into believing George Bush has their best interest in mind, I am hypersensitive to this process and can spot the B/S a mile away, how about you.
Remember the Rush Limbaugh-Fox News-Hannity-O'Reilly monster and every right wing "Dawn of the Dead" zombie has been after the Clintons for 15 yrs. So lets not be zombies, lets instead judge people on their grasp of the issues, their clarity of thought, their history of caring for America and their lessons learned. I vote for Hillary and yes her experience, and applaud her willingness to step into the ring and take a chance that she and Bill could help America again.
