If you live in Ohio, today is the deadline to have your voter registration sent in, if you are not already registered or if you have moved.
if you are an Ohio resident and this is your first time voting or if you have moved or changed your name recently, today (2/4) is the deadline to get your registration sent in. Actually, it has to be postmarked by today, so HURRY HURRY HURRY and get the form filled out, put it in an envelope, and drop it in a mailbox. Regardless of who you prefer, it looks like Super Tuesday will be close enough that Ohio and Texas primaries will actually matter for once!
Here is a link to the SoS-Ohio's website with the form for registration:

If you are already registered to vote, you don't need to do anything unless you've moved or change your name. If you poke around the SoS website they have something there where you can look up and see if you are already registered, and where you have to go in order to vote. I'd recommend against using absentee ballots, as I suspect Ohio uses those for surplus heating supplies soon as they come in.
ohio has a wonky sort of open/closed primary. Your pre-existing political affiliation does not matter going into the primary election, your primary political party affiliation is determined by who you vote for in the primaries. So, even if you were a Republican, if you vote for one Democrat in the primaries, you can only vote for other Democrats in the primaries that day, and you'll be registered as a Democrat. You can vote for whoever you want to in the general, and next primary season you can change back if, for some strange reason, you want to. Same goes for people registered as independents and Democrats.
Vote! Vote! Vote!
