I'm sitting in the Northern Virginia office and I can tell you that the Obama campaign has in less than a week built an organization that is doing more voter contact per day than any other Democratic campaign in Fairfax County.
In order to ensure that we not only win the state, but win with a significant delegate advantage I wanted to pass along the following email that I received a few minutes ago. Please do all you can.

We urgently need Spanish speakers to make calls to Virginia Latino voters NOW. Preliminary analysis is that Latino voters know very little about Barack Obama. There is recognition of the name "Clinton." A substantial percentage will make their decision at the polls. We are able to persuade Latino voters in high percentages when we speak to them in Spanish or let it be known that we are making a special effort to reach Latino voters. We need to have one-on-one contact. Change begins with each one of us reaching out to all voters.
IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY WORKING AT THE POLLS ON PRIMARY DAY (FEB 12):
PLEASE, make Spanish phone calls, no matter how rusty your Spanish may be. You can review the bilingual scripts before calling; after 10 calls, you will be quite good. Remember, the effort to reach out is what is making a tremendous difference and not that the Spanish is perfect. (Also, the preferred language of many Latino voters is English.)
PLEASE, if you do not speak Spanish at all, go through your circle of friends and seek out Spanish speakers. If need be, facilitate calls by providing computer access and phones. Anyone from anywhere in the country and its territories can call.
Please go to http://my.barackobama.com/... and make calls from 9am-6:45pm. These calls are to ALL PARTS of Virginia, so you will need a cell phone or long distance calling.
From Shenandoah Valley, Roanoke, Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, Manassas, Blue Ridge, Winchester, Henrico County, Charlottesville, Chesterfield, Loudon, Leesburg, Northern Virginia, and all points in between . . .
