Gerlado has the breaking news that politicians use speech writers. Yes, when Hillary, a woman whose name is Hillary, stated in the debates last night that a politicians words should be their own was she merely priming the sludge pump for today's flash from Geraldo Rivera?
Now, we can assume that when someone in the position of Hillary, a woman who campaigns with her first name (Hillary) in large typeface, says, "I just think that those words should be your own", to paraphrase, that not even those words are her own. She and her speech writers probably knocked the different options around for a good half hour. When the final zinger was chosen by her staff she then practiced it for a few minutes. That is the way it works. They set up "camp" (it is a campaign after all) and hash these things out. When it sounds right, it goes to the podium.
Most. retarded. line of attack. ever. Welcome to the clue train Geraldo. You can see it as diminishing the "magic" of Obama, whatever that means, or you can realize that all politicians have speech writers. One even worked out with his speech writers to say that Americans wouldn't mind being in Iraq for 100 years or even 10,000 years. In the end, all the politicians have access to the best "words". Why is it that only one candidate is choosing the very best and most inspiring words? Says a lot about the candidates.
