Diaries here, here, and here cite a WSJ report that the remaining six Democratic Congressmen from North Carolina are prepared to endorse Barack Obama (Rep. G.K. Butterfield has already endorsed Obama).
An update on the [Raleigh] News & Observer Under the Dome blog refutes this, however.
More on the current NC U.S. Representative situation, as well as other possible high profile endorsements after the jump...
Per Rep. Butterfield:
"More than one is seriously considering making a public release this week in support of Senator Obama — more than one but less than six," he said.
The only other NC Congressman mentioned in the blog post is Rep. Mel Watt (NC-12, my representative), who is the former head of the Black Congressional Caucus.
He originally endorsed John Edwards, and asserted that Obama could not win, although he mentioned Obama as a V.P. candidate for Edwards in October. He continued to express some reservations about Obama after Edwards dropped out and delayed making an endorsement, but he has since announced he will endorse before the May 6 primary (almost certainly for Obama).
I believe the representative most likely to abstain from endorsing is Heath Shuler (NC-11). Clinton will probably have her strongest showing in his mountain district, and he faces targeting from the Republicans as a congressional freshman. He has previously indicated he will wait until the convention to make a decision. As of the latest N&O blog post he remains neutral.
U.S. Rep. Brad Miller has indicated he is not ready to endorse.
Obama has received endorsements from both major Democratic gubernatorial candidates.
He has not, however, received endorsements from high profile figures such as popular former governor Jim Hunt, popular current governor Mike Easley (who is term-limited and likely eyeing a V.P or cabinet spot), former Charlotte mayor and U.S. Senate candidate Harvey Gantt, and of course John Edwards. Harvey Gantt was supposed to be at the Obama townhall in Charlotte two weeks ago, but I don't believe he was there.

5:00pm Update:
A new N&O blog post states that U.S. Rep. Mike McIntyre will not endorse before May 6th either. Candidate for Lt. Governor Dan Besse, however, is.
