It's Saturday night, and I am just so thankful to live in America. But I'm upset that some people don't respect our flag, burning it or wearing it on their butts in hot pants like Twiggy did. I am thankful that a Flag Lapel Pin really means something, and I think that politicians who don't wear one are, well, suspicious.
That's why I am writing my very first Diary here. It starts below.
I think That Woman had a point about Mr. Obama not wearing his flag pin, because it makes all of us wonder if he is really a Muslim who doesn’t love Freedom and Democracy. And I am glad that ABC News found her just walking around without a bias to ask that question so that they could try to be Fair and Balanced like my favorite news network.
I know that ya’ll are Liberals and all, and that you Hate America, but I kind of wonder which flag pins you have liked best over the past eight years, when Our President has Compassionately Conserved America, along with all of his friends who have done a Heckuva Job. Since its Saturday night and you are obviously home with nothing else to do, would you help me take a stroll through America’s Golden Decade - figuring that its been eight years but, Lord! It feels like ten! - and pay homage to the Red White and Blue that waved gallantly on the lapels of our leaders as they took us boldly into the 21st "Project for a New American" Century?
Personally, I like the one The President was wearing when he signed the Torture memo, but it looked a little faded, compared to the one Alberto Gonzales had on when he was lying to Congress. The blues in that one, though, looked a little purple, compared to the pin Harriet Miers wore the day she showed contempt for Congress by not honoring that subpoena. Mr. Colin Powell - and I think he'd be running for President now if he weren't so liberal - wore one, too, when he explained with all those photos, why we had to go to war with Iraq - and I'm sure he's still proud that he did his homework!!
Speaking of generals, did you see those pins that the generals wore when they appeared on television as "objective analysts" when they were really being sent by the Pentagon to spread pro-war lies? They were so realistic! Not like the fake looking one VP Cheney wore when he was lying on TV, no sir. You'd think, though, that he would have a more real looking one, more like that one Brownie wore when he was sitting on his fat ass during the Katrina thing. Which makes me wonder why doesn't KBR make those pins? They could charge a lot of money for them and, who knows, maybe not even deliver them! To the soldiers!
I'm glad all of my friends wear flag pins so that you can tell that they Love America. They also wear crosses (under their shirts, over their manly chest hair – unless if they aren’t men! Then its between their breasteses!) because they are Real Christians (tm), who don't smoke or have abortions, or gay friends, or even have sex with prostitutes or underaged boys - at least in public! And, well, they lie, and cheat, and are incompetent and arrogant and prejudiced, but they are "not perfect, just forgiven."
At least they're not liberals!!!!
In the comments, I hope you'll share some of your favorite Patriotic Moments when Our Leaders Showed Their Character while wearing Our Nation's Colors on their lapels.
