Just thought I'd crunch some numbers before bedtime.
Depending on the remaining 144 supers, Obama can end up with roughly 55% of the total delegates. Am I missing something?
That is a ten point win.
On merely the pledged delegates, he has a six point win.
When facing a candidate with huge name recognition, with a former president behind her, huge donors, etc, this really is nothing even remotely resembling a "close" or "tight" race. This is a thrashing.
Watching "After Hours" tonight, Dan Abrams piped in again about HRC's "resounding" win in South Dakota tonight. Do you think they bothered to mention that Obama won Montana by twice that margin? What is that then, "SUPER resounding"? "DOUBLE resounding"?
Not only did the American people tonight anoint Barack Obama their nominee for president, they did it with a clear and large majority against all odds.
Good night, dear friends.
We won. Resoundingly.
