I just listened to the best speech I have ever heard her give. One that must have been incredibly painful to deliver. And yet it was delivered forcefully, with passion and fire.
Hillary, you make me damn proud of our Democratic Party.
As you said, "We must all help elect Barack Obama". YES WE CAN!
I am going to be the new Democratic precinct captain for Precinct 25A here in Bend, Oregon. I am going to make sure I visit every single household in my precinct between now and Election Day. I am incredibly proud of the great leaders we have in the Democratic Party today.
Leaders like Hillary Clinton. She just showed us the power of humility, of the strength that comes from being bigger than yourself, of caring about the cause more than your own role in it. Bravo!
As I visit those houses, I imagine that many others will share by feelings. I have seen more and more Obama lawn signs popping up around here. Every day, I see another new sign or two. I have yet to see a single McSame lawn sign.
This election is ours to lose. It won't be given to us--we will have to fight for it. We will have to be committed, we have to follow through, we have to stay on message, and listen as well as speak.
Hillary just showed us all how to do it. I am incredibly proud of her right now. Just as I am of Barack Obama. At this time of great crisis in our country, it is reassuring to know that we do have capable leaders.
Welcome Hillary supporters. We need you, we want you to join us in electing a Democratic president this year. YES WE CAN!
