As is obvious, Republicans have no shame, a point once more driven home by the appointment of that good ol' boy Hans von Spakovsky as an consultant and temporary full time employee at the US Commission on Civil Rights. Spakovsky's contributions to voter (especially known or demographically suspected Democrats) suppression is no secret.
What can we do
IMPEACH THE BASTARD!!
Then we have Monica Goodling whose contributions to hiring and firing of (especially known or demographically suspected Democrats) those politically and religiously suspect at the Justice Department is well known.
We have many additional examples of those in the Bush administration, who, if they were not criminally liable, skated awfully close to that line and certainly broke civil laws, if not criminal ones. Having left in disgrace they now escape liability
And then we have Eliot Abrams, convicted of crimes in the Iran Contra affair, pardoned by Bush I, and then hired by Bush II into a senior policy position as Special Assistant to the President and the NSC's Senior Director for Near East and North African Affairs. So what has to be done to prevent the current crop of nasty from ever soiling our nations front doorstep again:
IMPEACH AND CONVICT THE BASTARDS!!!
Yes, impeach them in the House and convict them in the Senate. They do not have to hold an office to be impeached. Moreover the reason for doing so is the Eliot Abrams example. Once impeached they cannot work for the federal government. Do it now or in January, but do it.
The beauty of this also is that this gives both the House and the Senate very strong justifications for breaking Executive Privilege. Do it for a few where voting against impeachment and conviction could be used against Repulicans in the House and Senate. Do it to encourage the others
