The Chicago Tribune is reporting that two highly placed Republican sources have stated that Alaska governor Sarah Palin is John McCain's choice for vice president.
If this is true, I think this is great news. This choice completely undercuts any argument McCain has that Obama lacks the experience to be president (if the person who is likely to succeed McCain has less experience than Obama how can Obama's lack of experience be an issue?). I can't see any disaffected Hillary supporters going to McCain because of this choice either.
