FOX CONTRIBUTOR COMPLIMENTS OBAMA SPEECH
In what were a few frightening moments for Fox News, rescue squad doctors were rushed to the FoxNews broadcasting platform at Denver’s Invesco Stadium where FoxNews contributor and Weekly Standard editor, Bill Kristol, had suffered what onlookers had feared was some sort of brain aneurysm or stroke.
"We had first thought Bill had been dipping into the FoxNews convention punch bowl and was doing his Keith Olbermann impression that always kills at our network parties," said FoxNews head, Roger Ailes. "But as he continued to praise Obama’s acceptance speech we knew what we were dealing with something more than a drunken impression."
Kristol, who has spent his career ripping into anything that got within a hundred miles of a Democratic idea, applauded Obama’s speech, but attributed to the thin air of Denver.
"It was a momentary oxygen drop-off," said Kristol, "I got a huge knot on the right side of neck, but overall, I think I’ll be ready to get back to bashing Democrats and offering fallacious predictions by the time McCain selects Tom Ridge as his Vice Presidential choice."
