Where does the mother of a child with Down's Syndrome stand on stem-cell research?
If the choice of Palin is meant to resonate with women, this is a big question. Are her politics more important than her family? Is she willing to sacrifice any hope for the millions of children who stand to benefit from stem-cell research because Karl Rove says its good politics to oppose it?
OK, that's more than one question. And I admit I'm not even sure what possibilities stem cell research offers in terms of Down's Syndrome. But let's use the Red State Voice and make it a hypothetical.
So, Vice Presidential Nominee Palin, would you continue to oppose stem cell research if it were revealed that such therapies could substantially improve the life and health of your child?
