I don't know if if anyone else has seen this, http://www.nytimes.com/... but it is amazing. It is an article now being frontpaged on the NYT website, but the headline is so misleading as to make me cry.
It seems that the reporter interviewed 3 people to make the case that Obama is losing the youth vote. Say what? Let me tell you a story...
I was a delegate to the South Carolina state Democratic convention, and I voted for probably the youngest delegate who went to the DNC.That is Laurie Bilton from Columbia. Although she went as an Edwards delegate, she was one of the first Edwards delegates to switch to Obama after Edwards endorsed Obama. I believe she was on CNN the next morning. Where is she in this article?
For that matter, where are any people in this article? We get some guy who went to Denver, another guy who was a delegate that loves Obama except for offshore drilling, and Kendall Meeks worrying like a lot of spineless Washington Dems do. That's par for the course, but even Rep. Meeks doesn't back up the headline.
So, again, why is this on the main page of the NYT right now? Enquiring minds want to know...
