What happened to the $10,000,000 Hannity said he donated from Freedom Concerts to Freedom Alliance?
I received in the mail today Freedom Alliance's 2007 Tax Form 990.
Freedom Alliance really did a good job on helping the returning wounded veterans and their families last year! They doubled the amount they gave in 2006 ($397,900) to giving $895,347 in 2007.
In Part 1, Line B shows Direct Public Support increased to $10,762,256 from $9,594,995 or roughly $1,762,256, which is good considering the economy these days.
However it seems to be that $10,000,000 bucks didn't make it into the report! According to Sean Hannity at:
http://premierespeakers.com/...
Quoting from page two:
"Sean's Freedom Concerts began in 2003 to raise awarness and funds for the Freedom Alliance, a charity which provides scholarships to the children of slain U S military personal. In 2007 the concerts grew into 5 massive events resulting in over $10,000,000 for The Freedom Alliance and were attended by over 60,000 people in Atlanta,San Diego,Dallas,Cincinnati, and New Jersey."
Wow! Hannity donated $10,000,000 dollars from his Freedom Concerts to Freedom Alliance last year. That's a large amount of money for anyone to donate to such a worthy cause!
But hold the phone Jones,no where in the Tax Form 990 for 2007 does it state that $10,000,000 smackers donated, no where at all!
On Line 93 Part a (Program services revenue) shows that they sold $16,636 of Books. Half as much since 2006!
So here's my questions:
Where's the $10,000,000 that Hannity said he donated, no where in the 2007 Tax Form 990 is a donation from Freedom Concerts to Freedom Alliance for $10,000,000! It's not there folks!
