To start off: cosette jr. and I are foster-homing 3 ten-week old kittens and their mommy, Angel. My son live-trapped all of them at his apartment. All of them are currently: half to 'just a touch' feral.
The Kittens: Maneki Neko, female calico
Cowgirl, female seal point tortoiseshell with white.
Casanova, male tuxedo cat
The Mommy: Angel, 1 1/2 years approximately, tuxedo cat.
All are: Cute as buttons
I could get really upset when I think about the people that abandonned/kicked out/lost Angel...a young female cat who gave birth to three kittens near the University of Houston. She is been around but has known humans.
It isn't much.... but I have promised Angel that she will get spayed this week and never have to be responsible for another litter of kittens and risk her own health in the process.
The kittens are adorable and we hope they will get placed in good homes through a shelterless humane society.
At the very least, all of them will be spayed and neutered and not add to the overpopulation of unwanted pets.
We have gained a lot of good information from the Feral Cat Coalition (San Diego).
Check it out.
This is what my family shares over the holidays.
Happy New Year, Everyone.
