Iranians understand the US far better than United Statesians understand Iran.
I browse a number of Iranian websites and blogs (Iranians are the third-most prolific internet users on the globe) and find their views on themselves and the US to be insightful and helpful, though their command of English is a little ragged (on the other hand, I'm still trying to get past Lesson #1 on a "Learn Farsi in 30 easy lessons" program).
This morning I saw this amusing line in an American-Iranian post on www.iranian.com:
If president Bush ordered all eateries closed tomorrow the American people would have him impeached in an hour.
Is the blogger right?
Or would you suffer the closing of fast fooderies as your part in the GWOT?
What fast foodery's closing would cause you to clamor for Bush's impeachment?
MacDonalds? Wendy's? Should the Colonel take wing?
