Watch your thoughts,
they become your words.
Watch your words,
they become your actions.
Watch your actions,
they become your character.
Watch your character,
it becomes your destiny

I wasn't sure I wanted to come back and post. I wasn't sure I wanted to be here. It seems like I'm either told I'm a complete imbicile or racist. If I don't make my idea explicitly clear, I'm insinuating something, it seems, and I must be a good for nothing.
That's too bad.
This story I picked up originally from The Washington Post reminded me why I lean more toward the Democratic party nowadays. That prejudice is alive and well in the current climate of corprate culture says that no matter how far we as a culture have come, we still have a far piece to go. It also says that we still accept alot of unacceptable things, for reasons untold.
This story also reminded me what kind of political culture we as a country have allowed for. We still have rent a politician. We still have significant standards of "proof of law," which, generally speaking, is how it should be. But, other times, it creates more wounds where there already are too many to begin with.
I think, at the end of the day, one of the things opposing interests will come to depend on is our own self destruction. As long as there is lack of unity, there will be incongruity. And that means that there will be factionalizations that allow for incedents described here to continue.
I hate that I can't ask questions here--like about diplomacy, or censure of congress, or anything like that, without being called names or degraded. It seems as if there's an assumption that because I'm asking I'm stupid.
Maybe, like you, I'm just human.
