There have been several reports today that Iranian boats supposedly harrassed US warships in the Straits of Hormuz.
"WASHINGTON (AP) - In what U.S. officials called a serious provocation, Iranian Revolutionary Guard boats harassed and provoked three U.S. Navy ships in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, threatening to explode the American vessels.
U.S. forces were on the verge of firing on the Iranian boats in the early Sunday incident, when the boats turned and moved away, a Pentagon official said. ``It is the most serious provocation of this sort that we've seen yet,'' said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the record.
White House spokesman Tony Fratto said: ``We urge the Isranians to refrain from such provocative actions that could lead to a dangerous incident in the future.''

We also know that Sibel Edmonds started talking yesterday, and is trying to expose those involved in the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
Over at Sibel's website, she has published "Sibel Edmonds’ State Secrets Privilege Gallery" - twenty one photos of people.
Sibel doesn't say anything about the photos - or the people in the photos - but we can reasonably presume that they are the 21 guilty people in her case.
Sibel has broken the photos into three different groups.

The interesting things is that a lot of these players were also involved in the run up to the Iraq war.
The Office of Special Plans (OSP), which existed from September 2002 to June 2003, was a Pentagon unit created by Paul Wolfowitz and Douglas Feith, and headed by Feith, as charged by then-U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, to supply senior Bush administration officials with raw intelligence (unvetted by intelligence analysts, see Stovepiping) pertaining to Iraq.[1] An allegedly-similar unit, called the Iranian Directorate, was created several years later, in 2006, to deal with intelligence on Iran.[2]

We also know that a similar organization has been set up wrt Iran. The diplomatic portion of it has been disbanded.
WASHINGTON -- The Bush administration has dismantled a special committee that was established last year to coordinate aggressive actions against Iran and Syria, State Department officials said this week.
The interagency group, known as the Iran Syria Policy and Operations Group, met weekly throughout much of 2006 to coordinate actions such as curtailing Iran's access to credit and banking institutions, organizing the sale of military equipment to Iran's neighbors, and supporting democratic forces that oppose the two regimes.
State Department and White House officials said the dissolution of the group was simply a bureaucratic reorganization, but many analysts saw it as evidence of a softening in the US strategy toward the two countries. It comes as the Bush administration has embarked on a significant new effort to hold high-level meetings with Iran and Syria.

But the defense side of it is still going strong. And the defense side contains 3 of the players involved with the Office of Special Plans that constructed the lies that got us involved in the Iraq war.
In addition to the ISOG, the Pentagon last spring set up a six-person Iranian directorate in the Office of the Secretary of Defense that includes three former members of the Office of Special Plans, a controversial unit established by former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld that produced discredited intelligence analysis linking Saddam Hussein to Al Qaeda.

"As a counterpart to the State Department's new Office of Iran Affairs, the Department of Defense has split off a new directorate for Iran-related policy issues from the existing Directorate of Northern Gulf Affairs in the Office of Near East and South Asia Affairs (NESA)," he added. "These regional policy offices fall within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs."
Venable also confirmed that the new directorate falls under the policy side -- more specifically -- under the new number three at the Pentagon, Eric Edelman. Edelman, Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, holds the same position that Douglas Feith held when he ran OSP at the Pentagon in the lead-up to the Iraq war.
Moreover, sources say that the Iranian Directorate is staffed with many of the same people, including OSP’s former director Abram Shulsky, and receives expert analysis from such controversial figures as Project for the New American Century member Reuel Marc Gerecht, who by all accounts was a failure as a CIA field officer. It also includes military personnel such as Ladan Archin, who appears to be serving in the Larry Franklin analyst role among a sea of think-tank operatives and neoconservative war hawks.

Notice the name Eric Edelman, who took Douglas Feith's position at the Pentagon, is in charge of the Iran group. Eric Edelman is also involved in the criminal conspiracy that Sibel Edmonds has been trying to talk about.

And of course, Douglas Feith was involved with that, too. So they just replace one player with another.
Some of you might wonder how involved George Bush is in all this. Well, consider this:
Bush Names Edelman to No. 3 Defense Post, Bypassing U.S. Senate
By Jeff St.Onge and Tony Capaccio
Aug. 9 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush today named Eric S. Edelman undersecretary of defense for policy, using his power to make temporary appointments while Congress is in recess to overcome potential Democrat opposition to the nomination.
Edelman replaces Douglas Feith in the No. 3 position at the Pentagon. Feith helped plan the war in Iraq and the postwar occupation, and those roles made him the target of criticism from opponents of the March 2003 invasion.
Democrats on the Senate Armed Services Committee led by Carl Levin of Michigan, their ranking member, stalled Edelman's nomination to force the release of documents related to a specialized intelligence unit Feith set up before the conflict. Levin said the unit produced assessments alleging still unproven links of Iraq to terrorist groups to justify the invasion.

If Bush himself is the one who appointed Edelman in a RECESS APPOINTMENT to bypass Congress, how could he not be involved?
And we all know how deeply Cheney is involved with the PNACers, since he's been hanging out with them since long before he was appointed by the Supreme Court as Vice President. And Cheney also signed the PNAC letter regarding Iraq.
We know the nuclear proliferation criminal activity is starting to be exposed because of the news story in the UK yesterday.
A WHISTLEBLOWER has made a series of extraordinary claims about how corrupt government officials allowed Pakistan and other states to steal nuclear weapons secrets.
Sibel Edmonds, a 37-year-old former Turkish language translator for the FBI, listened into hundreds of sensitive intercepted conversations while based at the agency’s Washington field office.
She approached The Sunday Times last month after reading about an Al-Qaeda terrorist who had revealed his role in training some of the 9/11 hijackers while he was in Turkey.
Edmonds described how foreign intelligence agents had enlisted the support of US officials to acquire a network of moles in sensitive military and nuclear institutions.

Now, magically, today there's a serious incident wrt Iran being trumpted by the Pentagon, where many of these players reside (hint: Eric Edelman)
Coincidence? I don't think so!
I think if we don't seriously think about impeaching the criminals at the top, we might not have much of a country left when they leave office.
