Rachel Maddow continues her hot streak. After noting that Obama has set a campaign stump speech record for references to a single noun by muttering the word "pie" 15 times in two minutes at a campaign stop in Philly this weekend (as diaried previously here: OBAMA PIE!), she goes on to set a record of her own. She brings up the Troopergate findings against Sarah Palin and mutters the "L word" a stunning seven (from my counting) time while referring to Sarah Palin.
Footage at eleven (or whenever MSNBC releases it). Footage NOW!
In the midst of her well-reasoned tirade about the untruthiness of Palin's prevarications over the weekend re Troopergate, she states the obvious: that LIAR is a four letter word in politics and that calling people "mendacious prevaricator" or other thesaurus words is less efficient than just calling them a liar. Are the gloves off? Did Sarah Palin's you-know-what get "whipped"? If that were not enough, she also uses a very necessary Orwellian allusion, stating that "up is down" after showing a clip of Palin not just blatantly lying, but doing it with a smile. Without a doubt, this is the scariest thing I have ever seen, and I will ask Tina Fey to join her on her voyage should Palin get within 1000 miles of the launch codes. I just want to get a head start on all you guys.

BUT WAIT! THERE IS MORE: Olbermann uses the filthy L-word too!
