While the majority of Kossacks are not religious, you may have religious people in your family or at your workplace. If you are in the middle of conversations with people who are in favor of Proposition 8 on religious grounds, you can see a number of arguments people have made for GLBT equality on religious grounds. I'm starting here because it's the most visible force against GLBT rights, especially in the histrionics of Focus on the Family. But it's also important to remember that "Evangelical" is not the same as "Fundamentalist" and there is a wide range of theological and political positions that fall under that category.
