My wife Suzanne Hayes (known as smhbubbles or Isaiah 58:1-12) asked that I notify participants on DailyKos when she passed away after her battle with cancer. She greatly enjoyed this blog and being in dialgoue with all of you.
Bill Hayes
You may be interested to hear her voice on an interview she completed just before her death. The interview, which aired on the public radio show called "The Story" focused on her desire to vote in this election for Obama before dying and why voting was so important to her. On the Friday the interview aired a listener in Chicago was so moved that she posted a blog on it, including links to it, on the community blog portion of the Obama website.
The link to the interview is http://thestory.org/...
I am pasting in her obituary below so you have more of a sense of who she was.
Keep up your important work.
Peace.
