McCain plans to whip Obama's you-know-what
McCain's plan to bring up William Ayers
Am I the only one who remember in the ABC Primary debate where they grilled Mr. Obama for the first 40 minutes on both Wright and Ayers? Then why in God's name all these commentators seem to think it is still an issue needing to be raised? Why don't they simply pull out their past recordings and re-play if they are suffering from a memory lapse. What's wrong with these people? Better yet, why aren't they asking Sarah Palin about the fact the she abused her power and engaged in unethical activities as Governor? These peoples' sense of integrity is astounding.
I hope McCain brings up Bill Ayers only to have Obama explain to the American people his side of the story and cast McCain as a negative attacker. Latest polls show majority of American's don't like negative attacks and for McCain to bring up false associations is only going to hurt him in the debate.
How much lack of class can McCain express? Well, it's seems lots and lots based on this latest from him. I could suppose that Palin rubbed off on him in all the wrong ways, considering she is one classless gal, you betcha, but that would be too easy of an excuse. What we are seeing is the real McCain. He has constructed a intriguing personna over the years and it has served him well, but it was all smoke and mirrors and his greatest fear is not so much loosing the election but that the real John McCain will have to stand up, at least this time, as the man he has always been and not just become.
A highly manipulative personality to the core a survivior and not a maverick. Those types will do and say anything, yet John McCain will once again reinvent himself to stay relevant. Sorry to say, I believe this time, his straight talking bus has only a one-way ticket for him, and he should not forget to take Sarah Six-pack with him.
William Ayers educational foundation was funded by Republicans, not Democrats, Republicans!
The Annenbergs who are Republicans, Bankrolled William Ayers with $50 million dollars. However, Walter and Leonore Annenberg weren"t just giving money to educational foundations started by William Ayers, they were also giving hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Republican National Committee and various other Republican groups, as well as to a whole host of Republican candidates, including the following:
George W. Bush $4000 - Mitt Romney $5000
Strom Thurmond $1000 - Fred Thompson $500
Rick Santorum $3000
Recently, McCain campaign put out a press release bragging about the fact that Leonore Annenberg has endorsed him for president. The very Leonore Annenberg who bankrolled William Ayers with millions of dollars is now backing McCain!
I suspect this will be Obama's comeback to McPalin if he raises this issue tonight.
He has no need to defend himself or Ayers he can simply say:
"If he was good enough for Leonore Annenberg (and the rest of her fellow Republicans) and she felt him worthy of a seat on her board - then who was I to question her judgment or patriotism? Now, I find myself asking: who are the Annenbergs and why did they support this terrorist?" Just as I find myself now asking, who is John McCain, a hero who employs Saddam Hussein's paid lobbyists and henchmen?"
End of that line of questions. End of debate. End of the joke of a McPalin ticket. End of Republicans.
God, this is going to be an exciting night. I'm kindda on a fence here. McCain has already promised he is going to bring up Ayers. Will he, true to form, come out with sabers rattling and attack Obama or will he finally realize he just brought a knife to a gun fight? Whatever McCain decides, I have no doubt that Obama will be ready for him. I think this is going to be quite a show.
McCain's only chance is that the polls are wrong by 5% or more because of racism! I would like to remind Mr. McCain and all his followers of some words that many heard as adults, and some as children that washed their hearts and set them free...
"I have a dream... That one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood...
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today! This is our hope, and this is the faith that ...will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope...
...if America is to be a great nation, this must become true."
