The MSM is absolutely smitten over their new token "undecided," Joe the Plumber.
McCain needed to pull a T-Rex out of a ball cap. He reached in and pulled out a shiny red ball. Not quite a T-Rex, but the MSM is eating it up.
Let's be honest: It won't be enough to blunt any gains Obama may make from his latest (and possibly biggest) debate victory so far.
But McCain has another card to play. And we need to be worried.
Move over Joe the Plumber...
Here comes Bob the Builder!
Like Joe the Plumber, Bob the Builder is an undecided voter hoping to make it in the world by buying a small business making exactly $250,000 a year. But unlike Joe the Plumber, Bob the Builder is very popular among a segment of the youth population, and John McCain is hoping to undercut some of Barack Obama's support in key Youth demographics.
Bob the Builder also works with a variety of construction vehicles. This gives him credibility among two key groups: Construction workers and Automobile manufacturers. Using his new found credibility in Automobile manufacturing, John McCain is hoping to flip Michigan without actually spending money there. It's just the kind of strategy I fear may actually work.
John McCain further hopes to steal one of Barack Obama's key rallying cries: "Yes We Can!" Bob the Builder can help with this:
When Hillary Clinton tried to steal Obama's rallying cry, she failed. But with Bob the Builder's help, John McCain can succeed! "Can we fix it?" "Yes we can!"
I am very worried about the effects Bob the Builder will have on the race. Obama should have seen this coming. There may be nothing we can do to stop Bob the Builder from shifting the race in favor of McCain.
