The recent example of McCain's decision making process is Joe the Plumber.
The decision of John McCain to make Joseph Wurzelbacher (known as Joe the Plumber) shows how John McCain selected Sarah Palin as his running mate. John McCain never vetted Joe the Plumber and the campaign never really vetted Sarah Palin. This should disqualify him from the most important position in the real world. Another example is his call for firing the SEC Commissioner. We do not need someone like McCain to be in charge of this great country. We need someone that is very rational.
The McCain camp did not conduct any form of due diligence on Joe the Plumber. After making Joseph Wurzelbacher famous, referencing him in the debate at least two dozen times as someone who would pay higher taxes under Barack Obama, McCain learned the fine print Thursday on the plumber’s not-so-tidy personal story: He owes back taxes. He is not a licensed plumber.John McCain mentioned Joe the Plumber in the debate with so much confidence. Based on Joe the Plumber earnings he would be better off on Barack Obama's tax proposal.
Joe the Plumber, I am sure that he does not know the difference between gross income and net income. And it turns out that Wurzelbacher makes less than $250,000 a year, which means he would receive a tax cut if Obama were elected president and he is not even close to buying the business based on his income. He is not even licensed as a plumber.
It is sad to note that Joe the Plumber has had more press conferences than Sarah Palin. Maybe John McCain should make him his running mate.
