I am sooooo excited, I was finally able to vote for Obama today. We are going to take Florida. I live in a conservative part of Broward County in Florida and I was rather surprised by the amount of people voting this morning. It took two hours for me and my brother to vote.
The crowd was extremely diverse and most of the people I interacted with during my two hour wait were Obama supporters. The McCain people for most of the time I was there had only one campaign sign at the polling area and there were Obama signs and people everywhere.
This is the first time I have ever had to wait in line to early vote.
Outside of the two hour wait and the funny poll workers acting as sheriiffs against the people infringing on the 100 ft rule from the polling place.
The machines worked and I voted with ease.
McCain had one veteran standing out there for him, I kind felt sorry for the guy......He looked very miserable.
The Obama people seemed happy and gave everyone thumbs up as they walked out from the polling place.
For Florida residents, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU GO OUT AND VOTE EARLY because these lines are very long.
Go Obama! I did my part, now it's up to the rest of you:)
