Having worked on LGBT issues in Minnesota there are so many stories to tell about Michele Bachmann and her days in the Minnesota Senate.
My personal favorite is the day of the annual LBGT rally at the State Capitol (sponsored by Out Front Minnesota) in 2005. Bachmann first tried to circumvent the Senate floor rules to force a vote to take away the only limited domestic partner benefits State employees had at the time (which were eventually eliminated) as well as to ban marriage for same-sex couples. When that failed, she decided to hide in the bushes and watch the rally. What a weirdo!

Elwyn Tinklenberg (Bachmann's highly qualified Democratic opponent) is close to reaching the $300,000 mark on Act Blue. Let's push him over the top tonight!
