I think progressives dodged a bullet with the ineptitude of the McCain campaign and the inability of Sarah Palin to form complete sentences. What worries me is the potential nightmare that could ensue if the Right learns a lesson during this election cycle. The Obama campaign, over the past twenty months, has written a textbook on how to run a successful campaign.
What if the conservatives read that textbook and say, "hey, here's what we have to do to regain prominence"?
Scariest of all, what if the conservatives find a new Sarah Palin, better, stronger, faster, able to answer questions intelligently?
I'm concerned that we Progressives have shot our wad, in a manner of speaking, with this election. What do we do to, not maintain, but continue to build post 11/4?
