If you ever wondered how two-faced a media outlet can be, I just saw the perfect example:
I'm watching CNN and Rick Sanchez is reporting on the hoax attack on the McCain campaign worker.
He states that CNN was following the story yesterday, but CNN made a 'conscious decision' not to cover the story until the facts were checked out. He then stated that several other 'major media outlets' jumped on the coverage of this story, which then turns out to have been a hoax.
Which would be great, if not for the fact that CNN's political ticker was one of the FIRST outlets to break the story:
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...
I guess posting stories on their website doesn't qualify as 'official news'.
