Let me say I love Chuck Todd.
He's emerged as one of the brightest stars on the MSM rosters.
I love his electronic map.
I love his weird facial hair.
I love the way he ranted about the McCain-Palin tenseness.
But I feel bad for Chuck Todd... do they ever give the man time off?
He's on ALL THE TIME.
From Morning Joe in the AM to Keith Olbermann at night and Andrea in between, he's the hardest working pundit on TV.
He's ALWAYS ON.
One of these days, he might misread the map, go crazy, and mistakenly declare Massachusetts for McCain.
The man's gotta get some time off.
I think the execs at NBC and MSNBC have him chained to his chair.
The whole extended network kind of cracks me up. Any given show, you can see their TV personalities interviewing their other personalities.
Chris Matthews is a guest on Morning Joe. Then MSNBC's Erin Burnett is a guest on Andrea. Then Andrea's a guest on Chris Matthews. Then Joe S. is a guest on David Gregory. Then David Gregory is a guest on Olbermann. Then Olbermann is a guest on Rachel Maddow.
And "Chucky T" is on all of them.
And what's amazing is these pundit journalists always seem fresh. I think the biggest qualification for working at the NBC family is stamina! Or Red Bull. Or great make up artists. Or being a robot. Or having clones.
Whatever they're taking, I wish I had some of that.
Their stamina is pund-er-ific.
Maybe it's just getting a multi-million dollar salary to do what most of us DKos-ers do for free - pontificate.
And Chuck Todd is the best of the best, because he can do electoral math and pontificate at the same time.
The only person who seems to have more stamina is Pat Buchanan - but we all know there are special exceptions for the undead.
Join me in fighting for the Free Time for Chuck Todd cause. The man needs a vacation. (After Nov 4th of course).
