Yes, we have started to hear some of the stuff that is being said within the McCain camp, but just imagine what is really being said.
This is just idle chit chat but it is a thought that keeps coming back into my mind with everything that I am reading right now.
Come on, even a non-seasoned politician must appreciate the fact that the McCain staff are just barely holding it in. What is really going on in that canoe that is sinking, even before there is ever a chance of it going over the falls.
McCain must be letting out some of his infamous tirades behind the scenes. You know he has just got to be - and there are witnesses to this of course, at least those that are very close to him. Man, he must just be exploding right now. I bet some are even hesitant to advise him not knowing the level of angst that might be overwhelming him at any said moment. Maybe this is why some are sending out their resumes? so they will not have to put themselves into an uncomfortable situation of having him go off on them? or at least in the same room as him.
What are they holding in? McCain's true feelings? I mean, Whoa! If his temperment is anything like what has been portrayed in his interviews lately not to mention those that have spoken of it. There must be at least over 73 new words that need to be added to good ol' curse dictionary.
From the New Yorker, out of everything, this has gotta carry a lot of weight as to what is really happening inside the McCain Palin camp right now.
According to the Republican close to the campaign, she has sometimes discomfited advisers by travelling with a big family entourage. "It kind of changes the dynamic of a meeting to have them all in the room," he told me. John McCain’s comfort level with Palin is harder to gauge. In the view of the longtime McCain friend, "John’s personal comfort level is low with everyone right now. He’s angry. But it was his choice."
Top of the 9th, score is Obama 12, McCain 2. Obama is at bat - 'cause he is not done yet. Poor team McCain having to endure that last stretch.
Ya, I know... I cam Canadian but at least in curling it is common to reach out and shake your opponents hand if all hope is lost prior to even getting to that last end. Always had a lot of respect for those that did just this, no matter who they were.
