There are some scattered diaries that have a few of them, but I thought I'd make one to compile and discuss the night's results, particularly PPP's poll dump tonight. Most recently: Obama leads in 2004 red state New Mexico, 58-41. Trick or treat, McCain.
PPP:
CO-Pres: Obama +10, 54-44.
MI-Pres: Obama +13, 55-42. --- Newest! Only topline number given so far.
NM-Pres: Obama +17, 58-41.
OR-Pres: Obama +15, 57-42.
MN-Pres: Obama +16, 57-41.
WV-Pres: McCain +13, 55-42.
CO-Sen: Udall +15, 56-41.
MN-Sen: Franken +5, 45-40.
NM-Sen: Udall +19, 58-39.
OR-Sen: Merkley +8, 51-43.
National Trackers:
Zogby Obama +7, 50-43.
Michigan topline in! Breakdown coming later. Obviously, great results. The NM number is big, but it corresponds with recent shifts towards Obama in Arizona. The one downside is the WV number, but I actually see it was a good sign: Without it, we'd have to wonder if the rest of the numbers are valid. A McCain +13 in WV is a great way of knowing that these polls aren't biased too heavily toward Obama.
Please post anything else in the comments. I'll get to work linking each one of these, and I'll be up to edit given new developments.
God it's nice to see hours of work translate into reported numbers. It's going to be even nicer seeing it happen on Tuesday.
Edit: For those poll addicts who keep checking this thread, I'll give you some entertainment to pass the time. First, a McCain surrogate getting totally mollywopped yesterday on CNN:
Their campaign has been comedy gold.
